A school teacher is accused of taking computers and sports equipment while being captured on closed-circuit television, a Harare court heard over the weekend.
When Wyne Dirwayi, 28, of Dominican Little Rock Primary School, appeared before magistrate Yeukai Dzuda, he was not required to enter a plea.
The institution is represented by the compliance officer, Amon Bvitira.
According to testimony given in court, Dirwayi illegally entered the school grounds through a window on August 5 of this year.
He is accused of robbing the company of $200, three soccer balls, 20 training cones, a Lenovo laptop, a Dell laptop, and two laptops.
He was photographed by CCTV, and after the complainant positively identified him, he was turned over to the police.
He guided the police to his house.
The 20 training cones and 20 soccer balls were found after he directed investigators to his house.
